Destined for the south beach
This year BitBasel will take over the entire Sagamore Hotel in Miami South Beach for the entire week. The last exhibition I was a part of with BitBasel was still held at the Miami bitcoin Center in 2019, so to be exhibiting with these pioneers again is beautiful. I also had no idea how predictive my fundamental back then it was going to be about what is going to be shown now. It's Groundhog Day with bananas and a repeat of Dante's Circles of Hell, as he tries to help humanity get out of reverse mode. A worthy fight. Only legends
As crazy as this journey has been since the early days, needing to repeat some fundamentals over and over again, while the eth scene erodes further, luckily there are people who see what I do and support the perspective be part of all this. back to the future
Take a look at what's on screen during my 2019 All Things Decentralized keynote at BitBasel.
Back then, I was talking a lot about how the world is on fire, how we need to fix the monetary system, the origin story of creativity, how ai will replace most lawyers, accountants, etc. low level, within five years. and how the banana shit of the art world couldn't sink any lower. Man, I was wrong, again, on that one. It seems the art world has found new ways to bottom out in the Web3 space. At least then, SuperRare was still taking off with hope. The naive me still believed back then that blockchain would bring more transparency to the art world. HA HA HA.
Anyway, both the divine touch and the banana appeared on my slides during the presentation, and will now be part of BitBasel 2024 as a combined work of art. The article discusses how the West has lost its way and explores what we can do to revitalize it. The reverse of the great inverse is the avant-garde, and I am still here for it. In time, this will be seen by everyone and recognized as self-evident. Meanwhile, I have to function as an artist and as a cultural critic. It's a strange position but someone has to do it.

Lecks also asked me to put metaverse material on a screen, which I was happy about. The compilation video of some of the best done so far across Asvoria (coming soon), Superworld, and Cornerstone Land will be featured as part of a larger metaverse reel.
Why are we not allowed to ask, in art, the most basic questions? Why can't we be inspired by excellence, beauty, harmony and spirit? Time and time again, we simply revel in this mud like pigs with no future. At least pigs get some nutrients and skin care from their game, while we are reduced to instinctless animals.

Tropical 2017 was the first Miami-specific job I did. The 2/3 repaint is still available at a price of 1 btc. I kept the idea I had that some of the early work would keep the thread at the price of 1 btc, when they bought it from me. Of course, I needed to start making others without it, since about 10,000 is still the constant “fuck you money” that people in the scene use for art. However, these pieces are historical, so if you want to get in on that action, I've got you covered! I saved it here as a last resort, so only through proof of the collector's effort will you be able to access them.
Also, I always respect Moe Levin, the founder of the North American bitcoin Conferencefor giving me my first spot to display my art in January 2018. Great to have a friend too in Joel from the Bad crypto Podcast, who is lurking in the background The signed 1/50 print was given to Moe as a gift.
At 100k, the 6×3 foot repaints are still cheap compared to what some of the early holistic works will eventually cost, once the dust settles a bit.
