Undisputed star of the nft show, Mike Winkelman, aka Beeple, has reached another tremendous milestone in his artistic journey. On October 5, his infamous Everydays project hit the 6,000 mark, adding another 1,000 pieces since his $69 million nft sale.
Back in the forgotten realm of 2006, the little-known and not entirely talented artist committed to creating a new work of art every day. This later became a gigantic collection, as rain or shine, Mr. Beeple kept his word and posted his daily creations through his Twitter account.
Since then, Beeple’s mammoth task has allowed him to go from a mediocre artist to a legitimate full-fledged talent. Basically, providing you with the motivation to hone your skills and master the art of digital image creation. Now, more than 16 years later, he has become one of the most prominent contemporary artists and regularly grosses millions of dollars for his art.

The art that caused a revolution
Beeple arguably kicked off the modern nft trend in March 2021, when he minted the first 5,000 pieces of his Everydays project as a single nft that ultimately sold for $69 million. This had the domino effect of putting NFTs firmly in the spotlight, where they gained significant media coverage. What followed will go down in history as the era when NFTs became the most talked about technological advancement of the time.
Since then, anyone could have forgiven Beeple for withdrawing from Everydays after his first 5,000 artworks made money. However, completely unfazed by the gigantic amounts of cash, the eminent artist continues to publish a new creation every day.
