The attractive nature of autoglyphs
Autoglyphs, launched in 2019 by Larva Labs (creators of CryptoPunks), stand out in the nft world for being stored entirely on the ethereum blockchain, avoiding the external storage issues that plagued previous NFTs, including Punks.
Since each of the nft project's 512 artworks is distinct and exempt from ongoing fees, Autoglyphs is celebrated as a superior incarnation of algorithmically generated art in the sphere of blockchain technology.
The newly acquired collection is one of seven complete sets and part of a trio of developer builds from Larva Labs co-founders Matt Hall and John Watkinson. Previously, the 'Old School Collection' celebrated this distinguished set ahead of yesterday's landmark sale.
Although Autoglyphs already has a history of more than 50 million dollars in resales and exhibitions in places such as the Pompidou Center and Sotheby'sIts recent ten-in-one purchase signals a new era for Autoglyphs and highlights the appeal of generative art in the nft world.
