SORAH, named after the Japanese word for sky, aims to support nft projects by providing opportunities for creators to sell their nfts while also offering various sales methods and loyalty programs.

Connecting the world as one
Kensuke Amo, COO of Animoca Brands Japan, explained the inspiration for the name: “SORAH by Animoca Brands Japan is inspired by our goal to seamlessly connect Japan and the global community in the web3 domain, just like heaven (SORA (空) in Japanese). connects the world as one. Since its inception, Animoca Brands Japan has been involved in the global development of Japanese intellectual property (IP) and content in the web3 domain, while also supporting the development of overseas projects in Japan. Now, by creating our own launch pad, we aim to further strengthen these efforts and accelerate the mass adoption of Web3 by serving as a gateway for IP between Japan and abroad.”
The launch pad will support blockchain networks such as ethereum and Polygon, and payment options will include credit cards and cryptocurrencies.
SORAH will use sales formats such as lotteries and first-come, first-served methods, and will be compatible with digital wallets such as Metamask and WalletConnect, using the ERC-721 token standard for nfts.
The platform also aims to enhance the global presence of Japanese intellectual property, including manga and anime, and aims to act as a bridge between Japanese intellectual properties and international audiences.
