a new portal anarchy arcade will allow you to play games on voxels directly from Somnium Space. This eliminates the need to jump between protocols to play or explore different Metaverses. Earlier this week, Robert Hoogendoorn, head of content at DappRadar, challenged builders to create portals that could connect different Metaverse spaces. Users could access these portals using a single NFT avatar, allowing them to move freely from one space to another.
To his surprise, such a portal existed. Responding to your tweet, Anarchy Arcade revealed that they had a portal that allowed access to Voxels from Somnium Space. “It’s embedded right into the wall.”

Anarchy Arcade creates a space game in Voxels
By following a link, you can visit various web worlds of your choice, either as a registered user or as a guest. Surprisingly, the experience is quite smooth and immersive. Bent “Some Space Game” the embedded Voxels is a “Top down spaceship shooter game.”
The game’s documentation states that it is “designed to integrate into parent worlds and run on virtual screens as a minigame. The game is kept generic for very simple mods and customizations on the fly via URL parameters” where “the main world can pass UGC customization parameters directly in the URL.”
That being said, the minigame can run in any Iframe that supports it by relying on a pointer lock. Plus, it has easy controls, with most things customizable via URL parameters. However, the game’s splash screen acts as your credits and should not be customized.
Developed by Elijah Newman-Gomez, Anarchy Arcade is a free to play indie game “which allows users to output real-life games, movies, images, and other media directly from their PC or the Internet into the Metaverse.”
Now, the Voxels portal offers a glimpse of how Web3 users can use a single avatar to explore different realms of the Metaverse while having their characters intact without having to rebuild them in a different space.
