Tanssi Expands AppChain Deployment Services to Ethereum via Symbiosis

The Tanssi Foundation has extended its blockchain infrastructure protocol to ethereum, enabling the rapid deployment of decentralized networks known as Actively Validated Services (AVS) in minutes. According to the announcement, this expansion is facilitated through a partnership with Symbiotic, a permissionless resttaking protocol.

Tanssi’s integration with ethereum allows developers to build highly customizable and decentralized networks, leveraging the security of ethereum. By utilizing Symbiotic’s resttaking protocol, Tanssi-based networks can access billions of dollars in shared security from staked eth.

“Tanssi offers developers in the Symbiotic ecosystem an easy-to-use interface to one of the most sophisticated and proven blockchain development platforms,” said Felix Lutsch, Head of Symbiotic Ecosystem.

He added that by integrating with Symbiotic’s shared security protocol, projects using Tanssi can leverage ethereum’s liquidity and launch an application chain with resttaking functionality in minutes.

Resttaking is the act of using a digital asset already deposited on another layer, hence the name, meaning that the mainnet and that new infrastructure share the same validators. This way, projects can build solutions outside of the mainnet, which helps the scalability of their decentralized applications, known as AVS.

The collaboration introduces new possibilities for developers by integrating Substrate’s flexible software development kit (SDK) for full customization. Tanssi’s framework allows developers to deploy AVS using predefined templates and modules, achieving full decentralization without relying on a single sequencer.
