Skate, a unified liquidity platform whose infrastructure layer feeds a cross -chain virtual machine environment, has launched the first automated market manufacturers protocol that will work in the main blockchains.
According to a <a target="_blank" href="https://x.com/skate_chain/status/1897291874828001578″ target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>advertisementSkate AMM allows users to navigate applications in all environments of the virtual machine, or VM, including ethereum (eth), Solana (Sun) and Ton Blockchain (Ton). That means that users in a SVM chain can interact without problems with native applications in an EVM or TONVM chain.
It is a milestone of interoperability that could see the record of the decentralized finance ecosystem, innovation and fresh and accelerated accelerated adoption.
In addition to EVM, Solanavm and Tonvm, Skate AMM runs through the VM, movement and eclipse environments, among others. The support for the interaction between VM occurs, while users benefit from liquidity and unified prices.
With inherited AMM hindered as a monolithic design it means that they are isolated in a compatible chain. That sees each new chain forced to start their own AMM, with liquidity suppliers that have to divide capital, resulting in bad prices and landslides.
Skate AMM seeks to address THI with a design without state that means multiple and multiple VM support.
Instead of liquidity and fragmented prices, the AMM puts into play a state of canonical liquidity and a center. Users can take advantage of the liquidity of any of the compatible chains, with actively validated service operators that offer security through the economic confidence of the Eigenlayer protocol of ethereum.
According to the skate team, the separation of the central AMM logic of asset custody results in a unified liquidity and better prices. User assets remain in the native chain, thus eliminating the risks of bridge.
While this means “deeper liquidity, less slippage and better prices” for merchants, for LPs, implications include the potential for better tariff income, greater user experience and greater capital efficiency.
Skate AMM will benefit Mantle users, Hyperliquid, Berachain, Monada, Referee, History Protocol, Sonic SVM, Soon, Zksync and Aptos.
