The Ethereum Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of the Data Combination Challenge 🐼.
The challenge lasted ~9 weeks around the merge, allowing data analysts to collect and review information both before and after the big event. Participants submitted a treasure trove of data and analysis in 45(!) different blog posts.
Enjoy going through the many ideas and since it’s all open source, feel free to open things up and extend/modify the analysis!

Awards are divided into three tiers, based on overall quality, scope, extensibility, and usefulness to the community.
Gold ($30k prize) 🥇

Thinking in the future
The Merge Data Challenge produced great new tools, analytics, and visualizations. That being said, there is ongoing work to be done to monitor and understand the Ethereum proof-of-stake network, especially on the Beacon Chain consensus layer.
