Rubmar is a writer and translator who has been a cryptocurrency enthusiast for the past four years. She explored freedom and new words through her favourite books, which shaped her worldview. Rubmar acquired the skills necessary for in-depth research and analytical thinking at university, where she studied Literature and Linguistics. Her studies have provided her with a keen perspective on various subjects and have enabled her to turn every stone in her research.
In 2019, he first delved into the cryptocurrency industry when a friend introduced him to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but it wasn’t until 2020 that he began to dive deeper into the industry. As Rubmar began to understand the mechanics of the cryptocurrency sphere, he saw a new world yet to be explored.
As she began her journey into the world of cryptocurrencies, she discovered a new system that allowed her to have control over her finances. As a young adult in the 21st century, Rubmar has faced the challenges of the traditional banking system and the restrictions of fiat money.
After her home country’s economy collapsed, the limitations of traditional finance became apparent. The outdated, bureaucratic structure made her feel hopeless and powerless amidst an aggressive and distorted system created by hyperinflation. However, learning about decentralization and self-custody opened up a world of opportunity for her. Cryptocurrencies allowed her to experience financial control for the first time and further her financial education.
Furthermore, the peculiar nature of the cryptocurrency community piqued Rubmar’s curiosity about the other layers of the industry. As a result, she found a particular interest in discovering the diverse perspectives of investors, market observers, experts, and developers. Her attempts to better understand the cryptocurrency space made her realize the community’s strong ties to other industries, which enriched her perspective on the sector. As someone who spends most of her day online, Rubmar enjoys finding the points where the world of crypto meets her other passions and hobbies, or her favorite memes.
In her free time, she often finds pleasure in different forms of art. As a child, she joined all the extracurricular activities in her hometown, including music classes, dance, jewelry making, and the local choir. Despite her many attempts to learn to play different instruments, Rubmar only knows how to play the xylophone, which she played for 7 years in her school's marching band.
She is also passionate about learning new languages and cultures, and has set herself the goal of learning six more languages. She is currently trying to learn Italian and Korean. Outside of work, her biggest interests are scrapbooking, paper crafts, and bookbinding. She takes classes and constantly attends workshops to learn new techniques. The rest of her free time is spent stressing about football matches and transfer market news or feeding the cats, whether they are her own or strays.
