We are evolving the way we build ethereum.org. As of January 20, we have adopted Fitness cycles – Focused 6-week build periods followed by 2-week cooldowns. For cycle 1, each project below will be submitted by the end of February; There will be no automatic transfers to the next cycle.
Quick point of clarification: This is the cycle roadmap for the ethereum.org website, not the ethereum protocol..
We will submit the following projects at the end of February in our first cycle:
ethereum.org Major Improvements
Interactive roadmap
Doing <a target="_blank" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="chakra-link css-ug8vf0" href="https://vitalik.eth.limo/general/2024/10/14/futures1.html”>Vitalik's ethereum Roadmap More interactive and beginner-friendly, helping newcomers understand the evolution and future of ethereum.
Listen to learn
Implement audio capabilities for key pages, allowing users to listen to articles instead of reading them.
Web3 implementation
Adding native Web3 features to ethereum.org for the first time: wallet connections and direct onboarding to dapps.
Center of the board
Create a central location for ethereum tracking tools and essential community resources. <a target="_blank" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="chakra-link css-ug8vf0" href="https://ethereum.org/discord”>Join our discord to suggest panels you think should be included.
Content updates

New educational content
Work with freelance writers to expand our educational resources and fill content gaps.

Preparing ethereum.org content for the Pectra update to ensure our community understands these important protocol updates.
Translation quality
Implement new systems to improve and maintain translation quality in all languages.
Experience without English
Explore ways to improve the experience for non-English speaking users beyond translations. This could include better feedback systems, improvements to the user interface, or changes to the organization of content; We will try different approaches during this cycle.
Migration of UI components
Work with an existing community contributor to fully migrate UI components from Chakra to Shadcn at the end of the cycle.
App Router Migration
Implementation of server components to improve performance and loading times.
