In preparation for the impending Fusion, the Data Combination Challenge it’s live!
The Merge is the most complex upgrade of Ethereum to date, and potentially of any public blockchain network. forever. And with that comes tons of data to collect, data to visualize, tools to write, and things to explain so researchers, developers, and community members can better understand post-merger network interactions.
To kick off data exploration in this new paradigm, EF is hosting an open competition between now Y October 31, 2022. Start early if you want to compare pre- and post-merge data!

The merger is imminent, please upgrade your nodes 🖥️
Mainnet Merge Client Releases are out The time to set up your nodes is now.
If you are a staker and have not previously run a runtime client, be sure to set up your system and give enough lead time to sync Mainnet (which can take several days!).
The consensus layer will be upgraded to Bellatrix on September 6, 2022, and the merge transition will occur sometime between September 10-20, 2022.
