Ethereum's current Pectra is established for April 30 after the success of Hoodi Testnet

The long -awaited ethereum's sicking update is tentatively scheduled to go live in the net on April 30.

The timeline is still subject to the final approval, and confirmation is expected during the next ACDC meeting.

The Pin Update fuses improvements of two previous proposals, Prague and Electra, to offer a more simplified and efficient ethereum experience. These improvements aim to optimize the interactions of the user and workflows of the developer in the network.

Testi network completion

The decision to advance with the launch of April occurs only one day after Pin achieved complete completion at the Hoodi Testnet.

Success marks a significant milestone for update, especially after previous delays in other test networks such as Holesky and sepolia.

On March 26, the ethereum Nethermind client <a target="_blank" href="https://x.com/nethermindeth/status/1904918788744581318?s=46″>confirmed That pein had ended in Hoodi with all the update functions instead. According to the firm, the successful implementation marked a key step to take the update to Mainnet from ethereum.

Hoodi was introduced as a replacement of Holesky, who faced persistent problems that delayed the deployment of sirty.

In one case, Holesky suffered execution client errors due to incorrect deposit contract addresses, causing network chain and instability divisions.

At the same time, Sepolia, another ethereum Testnet, also experienced short problems, with personalized deposit contracts that interrupt execution clients and affect block transactions.

While the problems in sepolia were resolved, Holesky continued to fight, which turned out that the developers replaced him with Hoodi, who has had a reliable performance since its launch.

Due to recurring problems, the ethereum Foundation has confirmed that support for Holesky will end in September 2025.
