ethereum expert Steven Nerayoff has threatened to publish more evidence about the ethereum–eth-gate-explained/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>alleged irregularities that involves the network. His comment suggests that this evidence could have far-reaching consequences, exposing “criminals on an unprecedented scale.”
Nerayoff vows to expose criminals posing as altruists
Nerayoff stated in an X (formerly Twitter) mail that he was soon going to reveal “data” that unmasks certain criminals who currently pose as “altruists.” He noted that he had fulfilled his previous recording promise. As such, the crypto community can also rest assured that he will deliver on this one as well.
It is unclear who these “altruists” might be. However, Nerayoff could be alluding to the founders of ethereum Vitalik Buterin and ethereum/eth-gate-lubin-piece-of-paper/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>Joe Lubin, as he had previously commented that the duo were “carefully crafted” as “crypto-saviors.” Meanwhile, Nerayoff, who was an active participant during the ethereum ICO, made more claims against the eth ecosystem.
It is said that a “few players” control the vast majority of Ether. The ethereum expert alleged that these same people have significant control of other cryptocurrencies, including “most rug pullers, fraudulent ICOs and exploits.” Nerayoff also hinted that it might not be all that it seems, as he says that “the entire game is rigged and controlled by these few.”
A former ethereum core developer, Lane Rettig, had previously backed some of Nerayoff's claims as he said that 70% of the premined eth was distributed immediately. So, Rettig seemed to be suggesting that the majority of the eth distributed was going to the founders of ethereum or those closely associated with them.
Meanwhile, Nerayoff highlighted the fact that none of ethereum's founders or close associates have come forward to refute his allegations. He suggested that they have chosen to remain silent because everything he has said so far is true.

Nerayoff is coming for ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin
The ethereum insider wasn't done when he took a swipe at co-founder Vitalik Buterin. She described it as “afalse altruist” and accused him of putting up a front. Nerayoff also said Buterin makes a lot of calculated financial decisions for someone who says he doesn't care about money.
His comments about Buterin also suggest that the ethereum The co-founder could be one of the criminals he was referring to in his previous comments. Nerayoff even went so far as to claim that Vitalik controls the market.
One of Nerayoff's boldest claims to date came in a later post in which accused Vitalik to spend “half of the proceeds from the ethereum ICO betting everything on the price of btc.” The ethereum co-founder continued to plead with the chinese government once this is done, Nerayoff stated.
