ethereum developers plan when attacking the largest test network in the network, Holesky, which will be replaced by a new test environment called Hoodi.
On March 19 <a target="_blank" href="https://blog.ethereum.org/2025/03/18/hoodi-holesky” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>BlogThe ethereum Foundation announced that it will suspend the TESTET HOLASKY after the network was paralyzed by the long -awaited sicking update last month.
The developers decided to disapprove Holesky after technical failures in February when Pin was deployed for the test. The update broke the Holesky network, which makes its validator set unusable for weeks.
EF engineers implemented a solution in March, but Holesky remained obstructed. There was a similar problem in Sepolia, the second largest test environment in ethereum (eth), although developers could find a hotfijo. Developers use these testnets to simulate and purify network updates as a sirty before implementing them in the ethereum Mainnet.
Since then, the Holesky Network has ended, but the validators outdated would take approximately one year to completely eliminate the assembly. While stakers can try deposits, consolidations and all other sicking features, the size of the output queue prevents Holesky from being used to test the life cycle of the complete validator within a reasonable period of time.

Advancing, a new Testnet called Hoodi will replace Holesky, said EF Devops Pariteh Jayanthi engineer and the EF Core Tim Beiko coordinator. The developers intend to try sicking in Hoodi on March 26 as the final essay of the dress before a Mainnet debut. If the test comes out as planned, the EF could send to the eth main chain before April 25.
