Hello Ethereum! Here is the latest update from the ethereum.org team:
Style Guide and Design Update
Ethereum.org is getting an update! In January we launched a Style guide (figma doc) for public feedback and feedback, and we are currently in the process of rolling it out live on the site.
We also publish a set of design principles that help guide decisions about the site.
The implementation of the new site design will also include new designs for existing pages: see the changes that are already active, share your commentsand stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
Community page!
One of the most requested features for ethereum.org has been a page that helps newcomers learn how to join the community.
In January we launched a v1.0 of a community page, with the goal of giving people an easy way to get involved. The page currently includes lists of popular online communities, upcoming events, a list of meetup groups, and specific suggestions for how people with different backgrounds and skill sets can participate in the Ethereum community. Thank you to everyone who helped create this page by contributing ideas or content!
Are there other pages on ethereum.org that you think should exist? Please let us know!
study simplification
One of the main comments we receive when launched the Studio feature on ethereum.org was that the tool was yet Too complicated. The purpose of Studio is to be the easiest and fastest way to start reading and writing smart contracts on Ethereum.
We have now further simplified the tool by reducing functions and menu options that were not needed for this specialized purpose.
We would love your help to keep improving it! review the open issues to learn how
Whats Next?
We have almost completed a full audit of all individuals content on the site, with the help of some amazing members of the Ethereum community. This will result in removing and adding content, rearranging pages, and rewriting some of the existing content.
Next, we’ll perform a similar audit of all “Developers” content on the site. Are you interested in joining our “Tiger Team” that will do the audit? Request here!
We’re also continuing the release of the layout update and are excited to share new page layouts with the community in the coming weeks.
finally we we just announced our next community call, which will be on Wednesday March 25. Join and share your ideas or comments!
