Now that we’re well into the year, we know many of you have started planning ahead for the changing weather, holiday celebrations, and (of course) Devcon!
We are pleased to announce today that Devcon4 will take place in Prague from October 30 to November 2 of this year.
The first iteration of this conference took place in 2014 as a classroom-sized gathering in Berlin called Devcon0. There, the first visions of what Ethereum would be were presented to the main developers and members of the founding team.
Four years later, Devcon has become the most anticipated gathering for developers of blockchain platforms and applications, and throughout this time we have worked hard to stay true to our roots.
With the growth of the platform, Devcon has expanded in size from that small first meeting to around 2,000 at Devcon3 in Cancun. We expect this year’s event to be even bigger, but while our roots may be more numerous, Devcon’s purpose will continue to be to serve our global community of Ethereum ecosystem developers, designers, and creators to come together to connect, learn, and share with each other.
