ethereum Classic (ETC) faced challenges on social media, which affected investor sentiment. In contrast, Filecoin (FIL) gained attention with a recent community event. Investors are shifting their attention to BorroeFinance (ROE), recognizing their intention to reshape web3's fundraising.
ETC executive responds to X suspension
The official ethereum Classic X account, @eth-classic, was recently suspended.
In response, ethereum Classic CEO Bob Summerville stated that no clear reason had been provided. He speculated that it might have been a mistaken automated action.
Due to the temporary loss of its social media presence, ETC saw moderate price increases in November 2023.
On November 6, ETC was trading at $18.47 and rose to $20.23 on December 6.
As a fork of ethereum, analysts suggest that ETC could see further gains if the speculated SEC approval of an ethereum ETF materializes in the first quarter of 2024.
BorroeFinance pre-sale in progress
BorroeFinance is a decentralized ai-powered fundraising marketplace that uses invoice discounting NFTs to transform the way web3 companies raise capital.
The platform allows companies to tokenize their future revenue streams, including subscriptions, invoices, and royalties, into NFTs and sell them at discounted prices.
This approach allows companies to access financing in the early stages while allowing investors to earn passive income from the underlying assets.
BorroeFinance has raised over $1.8 million in the ongoing pre-sale.
ROE is currently available for $0.0175, but will trade at $0.040 once pre-sale ends in 2024.
Filecoin Web Carnival Night Held in Istanbul
On November 15, The Future of Filecoin in Web3 Carnival Night took place at the Swissotel in Istanbul, Turkey, and was attended by leading experts in crypto and DeFi companies, including Clara Tsao of the Filecoin Foundation and Colin Evra of Protocol Labs.
In related developments, SINSO recently built web3 middleware for the Filecoin ecosystem. Experts believe that this infrastructure will contribute to Filecoin's data governance goals.
Throughout November, FIL remained bullish, starting at $4.32 on November 6 and reaching $4.70 on December 6, representing a gain of 8.26%.
However, analysts are pessimistic about FIL's prospects, citing declining investor interest.
They expect the coin to be trading at $5.90 by 2024.
