Swiss Regulated Non-Custodial Bitcoin Enforcement Relay has announced the launch of “Relai Business”, a new OTC service aimed at business customers.
According to the statement sent to Bitcoin Magazine, Relai Business will allow small and medium-sized businesses to buy bitcoins in one day. The service is Relai’s second OTC solution, and its first, Relai Private, is aimed at high net worth individuals, allowing transactions above CHF 100,000/EUR.
“We are entering a huge market: there are 25 million SMEs in Europe, and a growing number of them are run by bitcoiners,” said Julian Liniger, CEO and co-founder of Relai. “In the next ten years, millions of companies will want to allocate billions to bitcoin, and we are going to make it very easy for them to do it!”
The Relai app recently received a complete overhaul that includes a simpler checkout flow and an improved user experience. The company also added support for VISA, Mastercard, and Apple Pay, increasing the options for users to purchase bitcoin. According to the press release, “the Swiss company recently reported record numbers both in terms of active users and trading volume.”
Relai allows users to maintain as much control as possible over their money. The app provides non-custodial wallets that allow users to maintain control over their own keys and thus full sovereignty over their bitcoin. However, it should be noted that the safest way to store bitcoin is always in cold storage using a dedicated hardware device.
