Presentation day The bitcoin Conference has highlighted elite bitcoin startups across the ecosystem since 2021 and previous winners include: Debbie, geyser background, nunchuck, albi, The bitcoin Company, Elixir Gamesand 24 Exchange.
Layer 2 + Scaling technology
As bitcoin adoption increases, demand for block space continues to grow and we are seeking innovative projects at the forefront to increase bitcoin's ability to scale and incorporate greater transaction volume while expanding use cases beyond transfer of monetary value.
Layer 2+ scaling technology The track focuses on identifying top founders and companies working on Lightning-related applications, alternative Layer 2 proposals, cross-chain settlement, and the utilization of newly identified technology, including BitVM.
Mining + Energy
bitcoin mining maintains a unique position in the broader energy landscape given its flexibility, geographic distribution, and ability as a tool for unique energy services. He Mining + Energy track will bring together innovators creating novel business applications for bitcoin mining, hardware, software and firmware for operations, as well as the digital infrastructure to enable the growth of bitcoin mining around the world.
Invest (The bitcoin Alpha Competition)
First launched at bitcoin 2023 in Amsterdam, The bitcoin Alpha Competitionhosted by Samara Alfa Managementis back, aiming to identify the next major bitcoin fund manager to offer $1 million in seed capital to implement your strategy.
As the bitcoin market has changed dramatically with the advent of spot ETFs in the United States, the Investment section seeks to highlight innovative strategies that deliver performance with btc as a benchmark.
Open source
Open source technology lies at the heart of bitcoin and is crucial to providing the valuable services enjoyed by everyone who transacts in bitcoin today. He Open source track is bringing the magic of the Open Source Stage to the playing field and will recognize the leading open source projects in the bitcoin ecosystem.
Ordinals
Ordinals burst onto the scene last year, revolutionizing the digital collectibles market and altering the market dynamics of the entire crypto ecosystem. He Ordinals track looks for the best projects that use inscriptions, whether in the form of digital collectibles or infrastructure that allows the growth of ordinals as a whole.
Locals only
Pitch Day is coming to Nashville and it's only fair to highlight the local bitcoin talent in Music City. Only locals track is putting top Nashville-based bitcoin startups on the map, no matter what sector of the bitcoin economy they operate in.
