Italian luxury sports car manufacturer x.com/Lamborghini” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>lamborghini cars and a Hong Kong-based gaming software company x.com/animocabrands” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Animoca Brands, have recently announced a collaboration to enhance the brand's involvement in the automotive industry.
The partnership will leverage the strengths of both companies to create new experiences for Lamborghini fans and customers, combining traditional automotive design with digital technology.
The initiative involves Gravitaslabs, a creative design studio, and Motorverse, a digital ecosystem for racing vehicles and games developed by Animoca Brands.
Towards the digital age
Founded in 1963 in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, Automobili Lamborghini, known for models such as the Miura, Countach and Aventador, remains a major player in the automotive sector with more than 2,400 people and 184 dealerships in 54 countries.
The current range includes the Huracán, the Urus and the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first hybrid model. The company is working towards having a fully hybrid range by 2024 as part of its “Direzione Cor Tauri” programme.
One of the key elements of this partnership is the potential integration of Lamborghini into the Motorverse. While the exact details of the addition of Lamborghini vehicles to the platform are yet to be confirmed, the collaboration suggests interesting opportunities in the future, with major developments expected soon.
