Shiba Inu's Eternity Comes to Web3
Lucie x.com/LucieSHIB/status/1816383821052252509″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener nofollow”>describes This update marks a major evolution for the game, introducing new blockchain-powered features and dynamics. “Unleash your inner alpha in the Shibatopia arena: Shiba Eternity’s Web3 update is here, featuring ranked tournaments and blockchain-powered card battles,” Lucie announced.
Shiba Eternity’s transition to Shibarium is turning digital cards into web3 assets. “Shiba Eternity evolves with the integration of Web3, transforming digital cards into unique assets in Shibarium,” commented Lucie. These assets are now tradable and can be displayed, adding a layer of collectibility and interchangeability that was not present in the previous web2 version of the game.
Shiba Eternity’s new structure also introduces a systematic competition framework. Players begin their journey as white belts and aim to rise through the ranks to grandmaster status in cycles lasting 15 days. Each cycle includes 14 divisions, with players gaining points for wins and losing points for losses, mimicking the progression and ranking systems found in traditional competitive games.
As part of the update, cards obtained during gameplay are minted as nfts directly on Shibarium. This process grants players ownership rights over their digital assets, allowing them to trade, sell, or keep their cards as they see fit.
In addition, the game features over 10,000 unique Shiboshi heroes, each equipped with special abilities. These heroes are the central figures in each player's deck and determine the flow and strategy of the game.
Thus, Shiba Eternity now involves a more complex game structure where players must carefully build a 30-card deck and strategically manage their “Bark” reserve, which functions similarly to mana in other collectible card games. Using Bark allows players to execute attacks, defenses, and special abilities. The goal of the game is to strategically outmaneuver the opponent, causing their stamina to drop to zero, thereby ensuring victory.
Angel, the leader of Shiba Inu Games, commented on the competitive and rewarding aspects of the new Ranked Mode. “Our new Ranked Mode aims to keep your competitive spirit alive as you play Shiba Eternity. Work your way up from White Belt to Grandmaster and your courage will be rewarded.”
Additionally, top players from qualifying tournaments qualify for seasonal tournaments that promise even bigger rewards. “Top contenders from the 15-day tournaments will receive invites to seasonal tournaments, with even more impressive prizes. We’ll share more details on this as we progress through the beta,” Angel added.
Lucie concluded the announcement with an invitation to the Shiba Inu army: “Shiba Eternity evolves from a Web2 collectible card game to a Web3 powerhouse, offering ranked tournaments, nft minting, and strategic play. This evolution ensures player ownership and pushes the boundaries of blockchain gaming. Ready to dominate the digital battlefield in Shibatopia? The doors are open and the challenge awaits.”
At the time of writing, SHIB was trading at $0.00001639.
