CoinStats Security Measures
As a precautionary measure, CoinStats took its website offline and advised affected users (listed in the shared Google document) to transfer their funds using exported private keys immediately. It was noted that as the investigation continues, there is a possibility that the list of affected wallets “changes”, but significant changes are unlikely.
Amid these efforts, concerns have arisen within the crypto community about possible scams targeting affected users. Community members have warned against sharing personal information with unauthorized parties who claim to help with the breach.
On June 24 at 13:41 UTC, CoinStats announced that its services were back online. However, not all features are live and the team is slowly rolling them out to ensure a smooth and stable experience for everyone.
The company shared that an additional announcement will be released soon that will cover all the details of the incidents. For more updates, follow CoinStats x.com/CoinStats”>in x.
