“Our business model means that safety, security and progress are insulated from short-term commercial pressures,” the announcement reads. “This way, we can climb in peace.” In addition to Sutskever, SSI is co-founded by Daniel Gross, former ai leader at Apple, and Daniel Levy, who previously worked as a technical staff member at OpenAI.
