bitcoin price is falling, testing immediate support due to the Bollinger indicator center line at $66,825. The confluence of this level of buyer congestion and the support offered at $66,547 is critical for the price of bitcoin. If it breaks, btc could shoot up to $60,500.

A break of the $60,500 threshold, followed by an extended leg down to record a lower low near the $55,000 threshold, would nullify the overall bullish outlook.

Note that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is moderate and could fall below the mid-50 threshold if the bears have their way. The moving average convergence divergence (MACD) also hints at a possible sell signal, which although already executed, is pending confirmation. A prolonged slide below the orange band of the signal line could trigger further selling pressure.

It is also impossible to ignore the red histogram nodes in the volume profile, the size of which is decreasing. This suggests a growing bearish sentiment that could cause the bearish trend to extend to the price of bitcoin.
