The Las Vegas Strip brings the world, at least an oversized version, to the middle of the Nevada desert.
Of course, there are properties on the Strip like The Wynn and Encore that are just very nice hotels with casinos attached, but most resort casinos have a theme.
This is true for lower-tier properties like MGM Resorts International. (MGM) Excalibur, which has a medieval theme, and Caesars Entertainment's Flamingo, which features plenty of pink and some real flamingos. Many high-end Caesars and MGM properties have much more elaborate themes.

Caesars Palace evokes the Roman Empire, while the company's Paris Las Vegas has a French style and its own Eiffel Tower. MGM's New York City features its own Statue of Liberty, and while you won't confuse it with New York, it still has some New York touches and flair that reinforce the theme.
However, the most themed property on the Las Vegas Strip may be the Venetian. When it opened in 1999, the resort was praised for its attention to detail and inclusion of Venetian-style canals, authentic gondolas and other Italian touches.
It is a stunning property which will be renovated as part of a massive investment to refresh the brand.
Venetian rooms are being remodeled
The Venetian has already begun a $1.5 billion renovation of its 4,000 rooms. The renovations are going to be extensive.
“Following the recent launches of HaSalon, Voltaire Belle de Nuit and Sphere at The Venetian, the resort's comprehensive reinvention from top to bottom encompasses everything from a rebranding of The Venetian's iconic lion logo to a redesign of major assets. of the resort, its suites, which remain the largest standard room on The Strip,” the company said in a press release.

The launch of Las Vegas Sphere, a revolutionary music and entertainment venue, has brought new attention and visitors to The Venetian. The venue has hosted a U2 residency and a handful of Phish shows, and will soon welcome Dead & Company for multiple shows.
The Venetian has always been an all-suite hotel that attracts high-end guests. The brand competes with more upscale brands from Wynn, MGM and Caesars.
“All 4,000 suites at The Venetian Towers, including signature suites, will be completely updated. The new suites are inspired by the ornate traditional costumes of the Venetian Carnival, infusing energy, spirit and warmth into a fresh, contemporary design,” the company said . aggregate.
Game improvements are also coming
The Venetian should see an increase in the number of customers visiting its property thanks to the Sphere. And given the cost of tickets to shows there, those visitors should be prime targets for the resort's casino, which will be upgraded.
“In addition to first-to-market entertainment, the redevelopment features new gaming offerings including The Palazzo High Limit Lounge, the fully redesigned sportsbook complete with a multi-year naming rights partnership with Yahoo, Yahoo Sportsbook powered by William Hill and a brand new poker room debuting this summer,” the company said.
