Link-in-bio startup Linktree today introduced new features, including a featured design to better highlight links, the ability to search for the latest Instagram posts, and support for a more prominent profile image.
The company said the new featured design is great for highlighting certain links. When you select “Featured Layout” for a link, it automatically expands with a content preview for YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and Instagram links.
In January, Linktree introduced a feature that automatically searches for the latest YouTube and TikTok posts. The company is now expanding support for Instagram, with support for up to six of your account's latest posts and reels.
The company is also expanding support for a larger profile image. Instead of having a small circular profile image, the new feature will display a larger image on your profile that will match the color scheme of your page.
Linktree also introduces a new feature called “Text Links” to simply display text on the profile. The company said this will help users display information such as detailed biography, opening hours or what you normally blog about.
Linktree, which has more than 47 million users on its platform, launched your social commerce program at alpha with partners like Sephora, Revolve and Urban Outfitters earlier this month. The company said it will offer creators commission rates through affiliate links in the range of 12 to 15%.
