The cheapest subscription has ads and costs $70 a year, or $5.83 a month instead of $10. Between the two is an ad-free tier without 4K support that costs $105 per year, when you'd normally pay $192 for 12 months.

If you are a returning subscriber and previously visited Max.com, Apple App Store or Google Play, you can also get the discount. Unfortunately, only new subscribers through Fire TV are eligible. The timing of the deal is tied to March Madness promotions, as Max will live stream all games of the 2024 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship, along with other live sports.
For those who don't remember, Max is the name given to the streaming service that combines HBO programming with Discovery+ content. While the name may be less memorable, combining the two services means more content to read, from brands like HGTV and Food Network, plus great HBO fare like The last of us and True detective.
