Investing.com – The Israel stock market closed higher this Sunday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the dollar rose 1.25%, reaching a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:), which rose 5.57% or 300.00 points to close at 5,689.00. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) gained 4.82%, or 104.00 points, to close at 2,260.00, and Harel (TASE:), which rose 4.23%, or 134.00 points, to 3,299.00 at the end of the session.
The worst results of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell 5.97%, or 1,790.00 points, to close at 28,210.00. NICE Ltd (TASE:) fell 3.52%, 3,200.00 points, to close at 87,660.00, and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which fell 1.29%, 160.00 points, to close at 12,230.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 298 to 153 and 85 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery fell 2.60% or 2.04 to $76.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for delivery in May fell 2.50% or 2.09 to hit $80.80 a barrel, while Gold futures for delivery in April rose 0. 74%, 15.10, to $2,045.80 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.04% at 3.63, while EUR/ILS was unchanged 0.05% at 3.93.
US dollar index futures rose 0.03% to 103.90.
