A24 has released its second trailer for Civil war, a dystopian action film from director Alex Garland that imagines a fractured, near-future America tearing itself apart. With a 50 million dollar budget, Civil war It is A24's most expensive film to date.

Starring Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Nick Offerman, the film follows a group of journalists navigating the United States as it enters the second American Civil War.
Like the first trailer that was released in December 2023, the latest one doesn't give us much else to go on. Playing the president of the United States, Offerman immediately begins with a public service announcement calling for the deposition of the “illegal secessionist government” of the “Western Forces of Texas and California” while an eerie whistling version of “America the Beautiful” plays over war-torn scenes. including a dramatic shot of the Lincoln Memorial explosion.
