Sometimes timing ruins things. Take this week, instead of detailing my distaste for this “meaty” rice, this week's Morning After sets its sights on Mark Zuckerberg, the billionaire who decided to overhaul technology now. Does he know that that is my Job?
The Meta boss compared Apple's new Vision Pro unfavorably to his company's Meta Quest 3 headphones, which is a delightfully empty and petty reason to “review” something. But hey, I had to see it. And now maybe you'll look at me?
We also take a closer look at Waymo's disastrous December, where two of its robotaxis collided with a truck. The… same truck.
This week:
: Zuckerberg thinks the Quest 3 is a 'better product' than the Vision Pro
: Waymo robotaxis crash twice into the same van
: United Airlines immobilizes new Airbus fleet due to no-smoking sign law

GLAAD, the world's largest LGBTQ media advocacy group, has released its first annual report on the video game industry. It found that nearly 20 percent of all gamers in the United States identify as LGBTQ, yet only 2 percent of games contain characters and stories relevant to this community. And half of them could be Baldur's Gate 3 only. (I'm half-joking.) The report notes that not only is representation important to many LGBTQ gamers, but also that new generations of gamers are becoming increasingly open to queer content, regardless of their sexual orientation. We break down the full report here.
