With 56 languages, 217 participants, and 1.47 million words () translated in a week-long online contest, the Translatathon set the tone for the importance of continually advancing accessibility in Web3, one word at a time. Translated images and diagrams.
If it weren't obvious, we firmly believe that the experience of people who don't speak English should be the same as those who do. So, we realized that having our pages translated into Spanish (for example) but leaving all the diagrams and images in English was not ideal. Our team developed a process for translating visual content, which greatly improved the experience for everyone who visits our site and doesn't speak English.
Interactive Wallet Tutorials

Hack and play in the infinite garden
In mid-2023, an idea began to emerge: what if we organized a meetup where people could disconnect for a bit from the hustle and bustle of web3 events and spend time relaxing and playing cards or board games with the community? With that premise we organize (in)finite games on Devconnect IST and feedback from the ethereum community was overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately (or not), our team was too busy playing Uno and forgot to take a photo… I guess we should organize a second edition in mar devcon so?
Navigation redesign
ethereum.org is always a work in progress. Before saying goodbye to an eventful year, our team redesigned the website's navigation menu, improving the information architecture for better user navigation. We will be rolling this out at the beginning of Q1, so stay tuned for this change.
