It’s been a week since Dookey Dash went live, and the hype surrounding Yuga Labs’ skill-based endless runner-style gameplay still hasn’t died down. From leisure gamers to competitive gamers (and even those looking for rent to score high), it seems that everyone wants to try the new Bored Ape Yacht Club game. And who can blame them? NFT sales increased more than 40 percent in January. BAYC-related assets are leading the charge, having claimed a significantly significant portion of the total ETH NFT volume for the month.
But not everyone can run in the sewers. You see, without claiming a Sewer Pass (which is only available to BAYC/MAYC holders) or purchasing one for around 3 ETH (over $4500) in secondaries, there is no way for general NFT enthusiasts to access the popular game. . I mean, they didn’t until very recently, because a prominent NFT collector took it upon themselves to make the game more accessible.
The tropoFarmer method
No sewer pass? Just borrow one. NFT pseudonymous influencer and collector tropofarmer has come up with a way to let other BAYC enthusiasts use their Sewer Pass to log a few hours in the Dookey Dash. Wearing cash delegate, a service trusted by Yuga Labs, created and assigned a new MetaMask hot wallet as a proxy for the cold wallet where your Sewer Pass is stored. Thus creating an effective way to use your Sewer Pass without having to remove it from your custody.
To access the trope hot wallet and play Dookey Dash, users just need to import the wallet specific private key in your MetaMask extension, then connect the wallet to the Dookey Dash Site and play. He asks his followers to keep his Sewer Pass loan system safe and accessible by refraining from sending NFTs or cryptocurrency to the hot wallet or using it for anything other than playing Dookey Dash.
For those struggling to accept your offer, be sure to check out our six tips and tricks for scoring high. However, it should be noted that regardless of how generous and robust the tropoFarmer method is, only one person can play Dookey Dash with their hot wallet at a time, a major drawback. So for users who want to find a different way to experience the game without going through any hurdles, there is still hope.
