Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the dollar gained 0.26%, reaching a new one-month high.
The best performer of the session was Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:), up 3.64% or 219.00 points to close at 6,230.00. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:) advanced 3.47%, 1,600.00 points, to close at 47,750.00, and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which rose 3.35%, 148.00 points, to dismiss the session at 4,570.00.
At the bottom of the index was NICE Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.65%, or 1,960.00 points, to close at 72,000.00. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:) fell 1.75% or 63.00 points to close at 3,527.00 and electra Ltd (TASE:) fell 1.25% or 1,890.00 points to 149,560.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 226 to 226 and 92 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery fell 1.53% or 1.18 to $75.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for delivery in January fell 1.39% or 1.14 to hit $80.82 a barrel, while Gold futures for delivery in December rose 0. 01%, 0.15, up to $1,992.95 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.61% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS rose 0.85% to 4.09.
US Dollar Index futures were down 0.20% at 103.62.
