What started as a means for remote learning during school closures, MimioConnect has evolved into an interactive teaching and learning platform for any Learning environment. With its rich collection of tools, features, and pre-built lessons, MimioConnect it is versatile and customizable so that teachers can plan activities and lessons that meet the unique needs of their students and/or classes.
What students need to stay engaged and focused is constantly changing, and MimioConnect keeps pace with the updates to streamline what’s done in classrooms everywhere. Here is a list of the most recent round of updates for Advanced Instruction:
1. Student interface
Students can clearly see notifications, assignments, session progress, and filter views. The user interface is also useful for those who support students with tasks such as caregivers, parents, and paraprofessionals.
2. Games and tutorials in Teacher Dashboard
The teacher panel now includes Games and tutorials sections, as well as an updated version Create icon.
3. Filter by class
Assignments and sessions can now be filtered by Class. Users no longer have to see all class assignments
4. Now 136 games!
There are now 136 games/activities available to enhance the lessons, with more to come. Teachers have the option of Play the game directly or Add to its content. The flow of lessons will be easier and faster!
5. Playing games
Game/activity playback now includes Repetition to improve the user experience.
6. ‘Top’ Searches
Dashboard now includes Above lists like Best Games/Activities and Best Math Lessons. Teachers can find popular content to help save time during lesson preparation and planning.
7.2North Dakota Presenter Device Option
With this option, it is easier for a presenter to join and control a session using a second device.
