Apple is sponsoring the ACM Human-Computer Interaction (CHI) conference, which will take place as a hybrid virtual and in-person conference from April 23-28 in Hamburg, Germany. CHI is the leading international conference on human-computer interaction.
All CHI attendees are invited to stop by the Apple booth (booth number 300, located in Hall H of the Hamburg Congress Center) to experience our demo in person and chat with available recruiters and booth staff.

Manifestation
Intelligent interactions on Apple devices
In this demo, we aim to illustrate two of our users facing smart device interactions, always-on display and assistive touch. Always-On Display enables millions of users to make their iPhones more personal and unique, while giving them instant access to important information such as the weather, game scores, music controls, Internet status, etc. battery and time. This function is based on the Bluetooth connection between the watch and the phone, and the model tracks the distance between the phone and the user with the Bluetooth received signal strength indicator or RSSI.
AssistiveTouch and Hand Gestures allow users to access the screen, activate the Digital Crown, activate the side button and perform other actions, all without touching the Apple Watch itself. It uses on-device machine learning to check how your muscles and tendons are moving, with the help of the watch’s accelerometer, gyroscope, and optical heart rate sensor.
All CHI attendees are invited to stop by the Apple booth (booth number 300, located in Hall H of the Hamburg Congress Center) to experience this demo in person.
