One of the co-founders of Blur, an emerging non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, exposed his name in a Twitter discussion. Pacman shared a photo of himself next to the web3 avatar he uses for interviews.
The previously anonymous founder said in a post on Twitter why he had come to the conclusion that it was time for him to dox himself and reveal his name to the world.
Pacman’s real name is Tieshun Roquerre.
Pacman said in a series of tweets that he “enjoyed the anonymity” of using a pseudonym, but that within a year of Blur’s debut, the community had “expanded immensely.” He believed it was time to “reveal his identity publicly.”
In addition to other personal information, he included information about his former company, Namebase, which he had established and later sold.
Pacman’s Crunchbase profile and LinkedIn profile conform to these details and previous claims Pacman has made about his experiences, which led to the disclosure of his identity, Tieshun Roquerre.

Why is Blur in the news so much?
According to recent reports, Blur has been engaged in an ongoing clash with its competitor in the OpenSea marketplace. Due to disagreements over fee collection, Blur recently advised its clients to refrain from selling their NFTs on OpenSea.
This development caused OpenSea to lose a segment of its market. As the heat continued, OpenSea was forced to return to zero fees to try to win back its customer base.
However, despite the slight recoveries, Blur is dominant and making significant strides in the NFT space. Despite the efforts, recent charts data still saw Blur overtake OpenSea for the top spot on the list for most of this week and late last week.
