Investing.com – The Norwegian stock market closed higher this Wednesday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Oslo, the rose 0.58%.
The best performers of the session were Drilling drilling Ltd (OL:), which rose 6.62% or 2.62 points to close at 42.20. Meanwhile, Autoliners Hoegh ASA (OL 🙂 added 4.45% or 4.70 points to close at 110.40 and Hafnia Ltda. (OL:) rose 2.26% or 1.30 points to 58.90 at the end of the session.
At the bottom of the index was Nel ASA (OL:), which fell 6.25%, that is, 0.19 points, to close at 2.85. Tomra Systems ASA (OL 🙂 fell 1.79%, 2.70 points, to close at 148.10, and Mowi ASA (OL :), which fell 0.51%, 1.00 points, to close at 194, 45.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Nel ASA (OL:) shares fell to 5-year lows; losing 6.25% or 0.19 to 2.85.
Crude oil for February delivery fell 0.09% or 0.06 to $70.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil futures for delivery in March rose 1.24% or 0.90 to hit $73.22 a barrel, while Gold futures for delivery in February were unchanged 0.00%, 0.00, up to $2,633.50 per troy ounce.
EUR/NOK rose 0.72% to 11.85, while USD/NOK rose 0.57% to 11.38.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.18% to 108.00.
