Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks closed lower this Sunday; the declines of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.
At the close of Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.36%.
The best participants of the session were Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.89%, or 3.50 points, to close at 38.90. Followed by SHL Financing Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which gained 6.43% or 1.10 points to close at 18.20, and Taiba Holding Co. (TADAWUL:), which gained 4.97% or 1 .85 points, until closing the session at 39.05.
At the bottom of the index was Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.30%, or 9.20 points, to close at 136.80. Al-Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim vibrating screen (TADAWUL:) fell 5.15% or 1.45 points to close at 26.70 and Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Doctor Group (TADAWUL:) fell 4.02% or 12.00 points to 286.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 187 to 121 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery rose 0.12% or 0.08 to $69.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for delivery in March rose 0.08% or 0.06 to settle at $72.56 a barrel, while gold futures for delivery in February rose 1. 42%, 37.00, to $2,645.10 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR rose 0.51% to 3.91, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.74% at 107.35.
