Disneyland will bring several special events to the theme park this spring.

Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Florida has Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party aimed at the very young. Iconic Disney characters dress up for Halloween and there’s trick-or-treating throughout the park. Park guests are even encouraged to come to the park in costume. Magic Kingdom even has a parade for guests during this spooky part of the year, running from August through October each year.
Halloween isn’t the only time Disney offers new attractions after dark. It offers new attractions throughout the year that are best to experience after the sun goes down. All Disney theme parks offer entertainment and special offers. Disneyland After Dark offers more entertainment in the evening from 6 pm to 9 pm
Disneyland presents new shows after dark
Disneyland in Anaheim, California offers two new Disney After Dark attractions in the spring. What better way to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary than by attending two new nighttime spectacular themed attractions, with the first evening a throwback night to the 1950s and 1960s will be offered on April 18 and 20. The entertainment will feature a much-loved pastime of Disney music, paying homage to the first decade Disneyland Park opened. The Disney characters will be wearing their retro outfits from decades past, which will be great for photos!
Disneyland will also offer another attraction that will truly light up the galaxy with Disney After Dark: Star Wars Nighton May 2, 4, 8 and 11. The event will feature a First Order Stormtrooper march into Tomorrowland that has the Dark Side searching for a Resistance spy. Park visitors are invited to attend a lightsaber instruction demonstration. Get ready for a photo opportunity in an out-of-this-world galactic setting with heroes and villains.
Theme park reservations are not required to attend, however there are only a limited number of tickets available to the public. Prices to attend Disney After Dark: Star Wars Nite range from $149-169 per guest for children ages three and up and just $129-$149 for Throwback Nite. Prices vary depending on the date you attend. Price includes admission to Disneyland Park beginning at 6 pm or up to three hours before the event begins at 9 pm Event ends at 1 am Parking fees are not included. As always, dressing up is recommended, but not required!
Tickets for Disney Magic Key holders will go on sale February 2 and February 23 to the general public.
The princess celebration continues after dark
Disneyland has another After Dark special celebrating fan-favorite Disney princesses. This celebration will take place on March 7 and 9, from 9 pm to 1 am, with a pre-party from 6 pm to 9 pm This show of royal surprises will present the Disney princesses in magical settings, ready to take photos with the visitors of the park. . Evenings will feature music, dancing and treats fit for royalty from Disneyland’s Cafe Orleans.
Tickets are on sale now for these special nights and prices are $129 for all guests ages three and up. Disneyland After Dark: Princess Nite on March 7 no longer has tickets available, according to the park’s website. Disney guests can only purchase up to eight tickets at a time for the event.
After-hours events give visitors the opportunity to visit more attractions in less time, as there are typically shorter wait times. Guests at any of the Disney After Dark events will receive a commemorative badge, guide map and unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads during the party.
