The open beta for Diablo IV is only a few weeks away. In IGN’s Fan Fest on Saturday, announced blizzard that the open beta will start on March 24 and last until the 26, while those who pre-ordered the game will get early access to the game from March 17 to 19.
During the beta, you will be able to “intimately explore” the initial game of Diablo IV, including the game’s prologue and all of Act 1, which takes place at Fractured Peaks. While traversing the snowy landscape, you will be able to complete quests and kill demons for as long as you want, but your level will be capped at 25.
Blizzard also gave us a look at Diablo IVThe opening cinematic, which gives us a closer look at the game’s first zone, as well as its robust character customization options. According IGNThis is just one of the many cinematics we’ll see throughout the game, which will insert your custom character into various scenes, no matter how “creative” you decide to get.
You can access the beta on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. Like any open beta, Blizzard warns that you may encounter performance issues while playing the game. Diablo IVbut notes that it will use any feedback to make final adjustments before its highly anticipated release on June 6.
