Public property security work
eth Rangers offers stipends to support people who spend time working on public asset security efforts within the ethereum ecosystem. Over six months, participants will be selected to each receive $25,000 USD.
What type of work is considered Public Property Security work?
Public asset security work includes efforts to improve the security and resilience of the ethereum ecosystem. This may involve activities such as vulnerability research, creating educational materials, free incident management or audits, or developing tools and frameworks that benefit the community. The goal is to support projects and individuals dedicated to securing ethereum infrastructure and fostering a robust, trustless environment for all.
Can I apply if I currently work in public property security?
Yes, current employment in public property security does not disqualify you from applying. We are looking for people who can dedicate a substantial amount of time to improving the security of ethereum public assets, whether employed or self-employed.
Applications are now open at ETHRangers.comand will remain open until December 20 when the selection process begins.
Important Dates
- November 21, 2024: Wave-1 applications open.
- December 31, 2024: Deadline for Wave-1 applications.
- January 20, 2025: Recipients selected.
- July 20, 2025: Delivery of final work reports, followed by payment of the remaining stipend.
