Investing.com – Israel stocks closed higher this Sunday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the dollar rose 2.60%, reaching a new all-time high.
The best value of the session was NICE Ltd (TASE:), with a rise of 8.81% or 5,790.00 points, to close at 71,500.00. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) advanced 6.86%, or 1,110.00 points, to close at 17,280.00, and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) rose 3.90% or 610.00 points to 16,260.00 at the end of the session.
At the bottom of the index was Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which fell 0.89%, or 58.00 points, to close at 6,478.00. OPC Power Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.87% or 27.00 points to close at 3,066.00 and Nova (TASE:) was down 0.79% or 600.00 points to 74,900.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 345 to 114 and 80 ended unchanged.
Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) shares rose to all-time highs; increasing by 3.90% or 610.00 to 16,260.00.
Crude oil for December delivery fell 2.74% or 1.98 to $70.38 a barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent oil futures for delivery in January fell 2.33% or 1.76 to settle at $73.87 a barrel, while Gold futures for delivery in December fell 0 .41%, 11.00, to $2,694.80 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.81% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 4.01.
US Dollar Index futures rose 0.50% to 104.89.
