Along with those models, amazon also introduced its first color Kindle, the Colorsoft, which could be ideal for graphic novels and other color-oriented digital content. It promises “rich, paper-like colors” using an oxide back screen, plus high contrast in both color and black-and-white content. It's now on pre-sale for $280 and is scheduled to ship on October 30. Finally, amazon is launching its second Kindle Scribe reader that also doubles as a note-taking device (just like the reMarkable tablets). It will arrive on December 4, but you can pre-order it now for $400.
