Meta’s annual Connect conference is kicking off in Menlo Park, California, and we’re expecting the company to unveil its first AR glasses, codenamed Orion, along with plenty of ai news.
Over the past year, Meta has made a major push to integrate ai features into the platforms it owns — whether through rival ChatGPT, Meta ai, custom-creating chatbots on instagram and WhatsApp, or ai-generated images powered by the company’s Llama model.
There are also Meta’s smart glasses from Ray-Ban, which we’re looking forward to hearing more about. And then there’s the Meta Quest line of headphones, which usually gets big news at Connect. The event is a chance for CEO Mark Zuckerberg to show off his vision for social media, the metaverse, artificial intelligence, and everything in between.
