Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the index fell 0.58% to hit a new one-month low.
The best performers of the session were Hoegh Automatic Coatings ASA (OL:), which rose 4.69%, or 5.30 points, to close at 118.20, while Orkla ASA (OL:) added 1.67%, or 1.60 points, to close at 97.50 and Frontline Ltd (OL:) rose 1.47% or 3.50 points to 242.20 in late trading.
The worst results of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:), which fell 7.40%, or 0.84 points, to close at 10.51. Aker BP ASA (OL:), which fell 2.87%, or 6.80 points, to close at 230.30. ASA Nordic Semiconductors (OL:) fell 2.56% or 3.30 points to 125.50.
On the Oslo Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered advancing stocks by 168 to 109, and 31 closed unchanged.
Orkla ASA (OL:) shares rose to a five-year high of 1.67% or 1.60 to 97.50. Aker BP ASA (OL:) shares fell to a 52-week low of 2.87% or 6.80 to 230.30.
Crude oil for October delivery fell 1.53%, or 1.06%, to $68.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil for November delivery fell 1.51%, or 1.10%, to $71.59 a barrel, while gold futures for December delivery fell 0.24%, or 6.10%, to $2,537.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK rose 0.28% to 11.85, while USD/NOK rose 0.54% to 10.67.
The US dollar futures index fell 0.10% to 100.97.
