EcoFlow has just launched four new battery products designed to power everything from your Qi2-compatible phone to RVs and appliances in the event of a power outage.
From most powerful to least, there's the second-generation PowerKit to fuel your off-grid van-living fantasies, the mid-range Delta 3 and compact River 3 solar generators, and Rapid Qi2 wireless power banks for phones that can also charge your laptop in a pinch.
The Power Kit v2 is a follow-up to the original all-in-one power management system I reviewed 18 months ago. The kits are designed to power everything from an off-grid cabin to a small camper van, without the complexity of having to put together all the necessary components and wiring. EcoFlow says that New 5 kVA 48V power kits They're RV-enhanced, quieter (a recurring complaint with the original), and offer even more storage capacity. The expanded 45kWh battery limit is enough for wild camping for a week or more if your vehicle is large enough to hold nine massive 5kWh LFP batteries.
The Power Hub, which sits at the heart of the system, can output up to 4,000W (with an 8,000W surge), which is more than enough to power multiple appliances simultaneously, such as a high-pressure espresso machine, an induction cooktop, and an air conditioner. It also supports a variety of inputs that can be combined to quickly charge those batteries from sources like the vehicle’s primary (or secondary) alternator, shore power, and plenty of solar power.
EcoFlow’s enhanced Power Kits can now monitor and provide status of water tanks and temperature sensors when configured with a new Power Link information hub. This and other changes, such as a larger 10-inch dedicated console display and support for more fused AC and DC circuit taps, should make EcoFlow’s plug-and-play Power Kits a more capable system for even the largest land yachts.
The Delta 3 Series is a mid-sized solar generator that comes packed with ports, including a pair of 140W USB-C outlets. base model It has a storage capacity of 1kWh and produces up to 1800W. Delta 3 Plus The model can be expanded to 5 kWh with stackable batteries. The Delta 3 series operates at a very quiet 30 dB when producing 600 W or less.
EcoFlow claims the Delta 3 Series can power a typical refrigerator for “at least five hours” in the event of a power outage. It also has a 10ms power cut-off feature when used as a UPS for your PC or NAS that will receive an HID signal to save data before shutting down.
The River 3 Series is a small solar generator available in two models. base model rio 3 It has 245 Wh of fixed capacity with support for 110 W of solar input, while the most interesting Rio 3 Plus It has expandable capacity that starts at 286Wh and up to 220W of solar charging support. The base model can output just 300W, while the Plus model doubles that capacity to 600W — enough to power things like small space heaters and drip coffee makers. The Plus model’s capacity can be expanded to 858Wh by adding two stackable batteries that quickly connect via pogo pins. The River 3 devices also have a 140W USB-C port and can serve as a UPS for your PC.
Last but not least, EcoFlow is expanding into the power bank market for the first time with the Rapid Series of 15W Qi2 magnetic chargers with stands. They also feature a built-in USB-C PD 3.0 cable for charging laptops at up to 65W. It comes in 5,000 mAh either 10,000 mAh models, available in silver, light blue or black.
Unfortunately, this important pricing information will not be available until each product's official release date as per the following schedule for North America:
EcoFlow says European launches are expected a little later in the fourth quarter.
